Team ETG Makes Moves for Hunger

Ellefson Transportation Group is proud to announce that through our partnership with Move For Hunger, we have donated enough food to provide 500 meals to food insecure individuals. Move for Hunger is a national organization that partners with relocation companies to collect and donate non-perishable food items to local food pantries to help those in need. Moving often comes with the opportunity to lighten your load and many people find themselves emptying their pantry or cabinets and trying to find ways to get rid of those items they don’t want to take. Instead of tossing the items in the trash, moving companies like ours provide customers with a labeled box where they can collect food items for donation. We then pick up the box and take it to the food pantry for you. We locally partner with Golden Harvest Food Bank, and donate all of the non-perishable goods to help families with food insecurities right here in our community.

Since it’s founding in 2009, Move For Hunger and its partner organizations have donated over 7 Million meals across the U.S. Team ETG is proud to partner with this great organization and we hope, when the time comes for you to move, that you will consider lightening your load by helping those in need!
