Knowing where things like the thermostats, the electrical panel, The HVAC Unit, water heater, main waterline valve, and more are important. You wouldn’t want to be scrambling trying to find them in the event of an emergency.
  4. Do the Registration Runaround If you’re moving to a new area, there are lots of things to update, make sure to do things like register kids for school and changing vehicle registrations and licenses as soon as you can.=
  5. Get Out and About Don’t wait for a fancy invitation or event to get out and experience your new neighborhood. Visit parks, restaurants, churches, gyms, and other local spots to meet new people and become more familiar with your new area.
